Q: What is General Body Membership (GBM)?
A: General Body Membership (GBM) provides more positions within BUJA to involve more people so that they can feel like they are members of BUJA. GBM provides people the opportunity to offer suggestions, contact e-board members more easily, and access information and announcements first.
Q: What are the different committees under GBM?
A: Event and Cultural, Publicity, and Multimedia. See chart below:

A: The only requirement is being passionate about BUJA and Japanese culture and language! Any skills, talents, previous knowledge or experience in any committee is not required, but always welcome. There is also no restriction on participating in multiple committees.
Q: Why was GBM formed?
A: Before GBM, those who helped out hesitated in identifying themselves as members of BUJA because they held no actual position. In order to establish that they are members of BUJA, GBM was created to give people credit and help them feel more involved.
Q: How often does GBM meet?
A: GBM will have scheduled meetings about once every month. If necessary, there will be additional meetings, especially in preparation of BUJA events.
